The SafeNiki Driver
When you decided you would like to make an extra $5,000-20,000 per year simply by accepting riders when you are driving anyway, you applied on-line to NikiCentral.
Upon meeting the SafeNiki requirements of clean driver's license, appropriate insurance to cover you and riders, a safety check on your car, and appropriate references, you became a "Certified SafeNiki Driver."
Now, when you are driving and are willing to pick up a SafeNiki rider, you use your mobile phone to advise NikiCentral of your starting and ending location. The computer constantly looks for riders along your route and notifies you instantly of a potential customer.
The SafeNiki Rider
When you decided to use SafeNiki, either regularly or just as a backup to your regular transit, you went online and gave the NikiCentral computer your name, address, a valid credit card, and two references. You were validated as a rider and authorized a minimum transfer of $20 to your SafeNiki account.
Now you're ready to ride!
When you want to take a SafeNiki, you use your mobile phone to advise NikiCentral where you want to be picked up (maybe the corner near your house or at your local Starbucks) ----and, of course, your destination.
NikiCentral --- the computer that protects you
The NikiCentral computer takes about 15-30 seconds to find a nearby driver, notify him, and get his YES that he's on his way. Then it notifies you that driver number ### will be to your location to pick you up in about 2, or 4, rarely as many as 5 minutes. His picture shows on your mobile phone and your picture on his. Both parties can confirm that the other is a registered driver or rider.
SafeNiki prices --- much lower than a regular taxicab
You need not carry cash as the payment is done electronically from your debit account at NikiCentral to the driver's account. A certain percentage is taken for taxes, insurance, and NikiCentral overhead, so the driver gets 80 percent of the fare.
The price is pre-determined by the miles, time of day, and weather. Just around town, prices may be about 1/4th of taxi fare. Prices can be higher for certain high need situations:
- Rain or snow;
- Going to and from a sporting event;
- At 2:00 a.m. (or whenever the bars close in your local);
- To the airport with the hassle of dropping you at your terminal before the driver parks the car. Figure if it cost $30 to take a taxi to the airport, it will cost about $15-20 to take a SafeNiki. How much time and money will you save in parking?
